Earn While You Learn
Earn While You Learn at Legacy is a win/win. Our participants gain valuable information as well as necessary items for your baby. There are 50 lessons offered ranging from The First Trimester through Toilet Training. It is a self-directed program, typically with worksheets accompanied by a DVD, so you can stop and start as your schedule allows. Graduates receive a car seat, as well as other baby items such as clothes and blankets along the way.
The Center Staff is available to provide education and referrals during this time of transition and change. Earn While You Learn will help you to understand what to expect in pregnancy and beyond. You’ll learn important and interesting information about your pregnancy and your baby and better understand the challenges and joys that lie ahead.
Wouldn’t it be great to know that you are being a great parent? To know that you are doing what you need to do to raise your child right? …and to be earning the items you need for your baby while you are learning? Earn While You Learn is available for any mom or dad who received Legacy services for their pregnancy.
Childcare Scholarship
For Earn While You Learn graduates and some other active Legacy Clients, partial scholarships to First Light are available. You may apply for this award to offset the cost of tution for your child(ren) to attend First Light Children’s Center.
