Many women have told us that their life became much more difficult after they had their abortion. Men can be affected by abortion as well. If you feel you need help getting through this tough time, please come in or schedule an appointment. Our staff is considerate and non-judgmental. Some facilitators have had abortions, too.
Legacy will provide you with evidence-based education to help you learn more about some of the common physical, emotional, and spiritual side effects that many women experience after having an abortion. Some people find it helpful to participate in one-on-one or in group support to process their experiences and feelings. If you are experiencing strong and uncomfortable emotions or thoughts that are interfering with your daily life, we can provide a referral to an appropriately trained professional counselor or social worker.
